This year marks our 11th anniversary. It is the perfect occasion to reflect on the years that have passed and deliberate on the most important things we’ve learned so far. Looking back to the beginning of Innobyte, we are proud to say that it was a great adventure filled with ups and downs, satisfying partnerships, decisions, and all the small and big steps that made us who we are today.
Here are the most important 11 things we’ve learned in 11 years of rocking our clients, friends, and partners’ world:
#1. In a digital world, stay human.
Digital is the right thinking for any business who wants to drive business performance. The rule is simple, go digital or go home. Even so, one thing is for sure, digital makes us interact more with devices rather than people. In a digital world, stay human and always remember that you’re not selling your services to machines, you’re not building partnerships with robots, and you’re (still) working with humans. Keep your people-centric orientation, no matter what.
#2. Trust the team!
People are the greatest asset! At Innobyte, nevertheless, the team comes in the first place. There’s a saying from Richard Branson: “keep your team happy and the team will keep your clients happy”.
We are proud of our team and, in time, our clients proved they are more than satisfied with our products, pointing out the experience and the professionalism of THE TEAM.
#3. Always be fair
In a world with more and more demands, the desire to succeed can drive one on some wrong ways or act in the hide. Being always right, transparent and fair with your customers and partners can only bring you the satisfaction of a job well done and, in the end, drive your team and business to success!
#4. Be careful with your numbers
Staying on top of your yearly business planning and cash flow will lead you to the desired goals with more flexibility and stability. Always keep an eye on numbers and never let you indrawn on expenses you don’t really need.
#5. Plan your projects carefully
The road that takes a great idea and turns it into a viable solution is impacted significantly by one of the early stages of the project, the planning phase. What we mean by this is that planning is a key phase in any project’s life and, if you do it right, you’ll have all the tools you need in order to steer the project into the right direction. In depth, it’s not about some fancy words, it’s about having the right set of tools that will allow the project team to see where they are and what they need to do in order to deliver the project within scope, time and budget.
#6. Build strong connections from the first “hello!”
We always seek to treat a potential customer as a partner. That has a very simple explanation: you both go down the road with the project, you both put together something (investment and experience) and you both want the project to become a great success. Develop together – grow together – enjoy the benefits of a successful project together!
That’s the spirit that should always drive two companies to work hand in hand!
#7. Let your work speak for you
We’re “out-of-the-box” type of thinkers and we take pride in doing what we’re best at. Success is an easy target when you have all the skills and tools to reach it. After 11 years of doing what we love, our work became our business card.

#8. Convert your customers into long-term partners
Having happy customers is what we all strive for. However, converting those happy customers into long-term partners is even better! With trust, you will be able to build a win-win relationship. Working with someone that you know and like is pretty cool for both sides, right? Not to mention that a loyal customer can also promote your company and services to others.
#9. There’s always room for improvement
There’s no such thing as “this is how we do it, end of story”. In a world where everything changes day by day, the only strategy that will grant you success is to keep yourself updated and open to embrace the change, no matter the shape that changes can take.

We can proudly say that we are technology junkies.
